EU 회원국은 EU 지속 가능성 규정을 간소화하고 기업 경쟁력을 강화하는 것을 목표로 하는 "Stop-the-clock" 메커니즘에 대한 이사회의 입장을 승인했다.

대기업과 상장 중소기업의 경우 기업 지속 가능성 보고 지침(CSRD) 적용이 2년 연기되었다. 기업 지속 가능성 실사 지침(CSDDD)의 전환 및 적용이 1년 연기되었다.
